The project office is located at a commercial area in the district of Riedlingen and the immediate vicinity of the Airbus company premises. There are several shopping facilities within a radius of less than ten minutes on foot where you can choose from a variety of dishes during your lunch break.
Geographically, Donauwörth is located halfway between the A7, A8, and A9 motorways. However, it is 40 to 60 kilometres away from the junctions of Heidenheim an der Brenz, Augsburg and Ingolstadt. The main routes directly to Donauwörth are federal roads 2 (Nuremberg – Augsburg), 16 (Ulm – Regensburg), and 25 (Uffenheim – Donauwörth). The nearest federal road to the office is the B16. Staff parking is available. Bus and train are an alternative to traveling by car.

Almost 20,000 people live in this small town in the countryside of northern Swabia. They benefit from the short distances between home and work, enjoy the many sports and recreational opportunities in nature or, using the good public transport system, travel by train quickly to Augsburg, Nuremberg, Ingolstadt or Ulm.
The old town island, Ried, and the Reichsstrasse are especially worth seeing in Donauwörth. Its historic houses make it one of the most beautiful streets in southern Germany.
The largest employer in the city is the helicopter and aircraft component manufacturer Airbus Helicopters. The subsidiary of the Airbus Group has its German headquarters in Donauwörth.
