That’s no problem with the V.I.E international voluntary program (Volontariat International en Entreprise in French) run by Business France, the French Agency for international business development! This program enables European graduates to work overseas for up to two years. V.I.E. are given real responsibilities and tasks related to projects, and are fully integrated in a team or department and acquire profound insights into what consulting involves on a day-to-day basis.

Your tasks

  • Development: as V.I.E (m/f/d) Basic Software Developer, you are involved in the development of embedded software for driver assistance systems

  • Simulation of tests: you will participate in the configuration, implementation and documentation of simulations and tests

  • Software: you will support the software components integration

  • Requirements and Analysis: based on costumer requirements you will analyse the functional design in a team

  • Internationality: you will participate in international project teams and work with other technical departments

Your profile

  • You fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (European graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years)
  • Reasoning and curiosity: you have a technical degree in Mechanic, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • First experience and passion: embedded programming in C/C++ or AUTOSAR (also during your studies)

  • Knowledge: ideally, you gained experience in the Automotive Industry and first experience with UML, XML, CMMI or ASPICE would be an advantage

  • Openness and organisation: good planning skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Language proficiency: good English language skills and ideally basic German languages skills
